I dont know enough about this site, but are you being sarcastic with your top picks, or do you truly enjoy those websites?
The number 3 given in website design is NO EMBEDDED MUSIC
users do not like being surprised by pointless noise.
The number 2 given is usability. You posted a top pick that is a site that teaches people to navigate flash websites! That is almost commical! Do you flash programmers expect users to relearn their browsing habits because you think flash is pretty>?.. THAT IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!
All you flash programmers are the same. You are the only ones that think flash is neat. Its impossible to navigate because you want to redesign the internet.
Do you understand how many millions of americans are on dialup or have older computers? why on earth would you try to limit the amount of people going to your site? Thats not insane, thats freaking absurd!
What i find truly interesting about you flashers is your god http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/?sdid=CKFVC
less then 20% of the aofficial cs3 website is in flash! The makers of flash realize flash should only be used in extreme moderation!

It seems andyq had bad experience with flash, that’s the reason of such reply. I’m a photgrapher and use flash site for about 3 years, and all my customers and I are satisfied with its design and interactivity, great presentation “intro” and cool photo gallery. Yes, I agree that it is not easy to edit or create some new flash effects in flash, due to the fact that I’m not flash guru
but flash is pretty and it will keep alive ….
Maybe I’m wrong but tastes differ.

Yeah great collection of website! Enjoyed all of them. I thing good flash requires both inspiration, fantasy and creativity to become a true piece of art.
To Andyq.
CSS/usability/webstandards/millions of poor Americans on dial up and primitive computers are ok. But if you want to make something unique and eye catching you need to switch on your fantasy and go beyond the scopes of old good fast food.
